Subject: Translating Motorola Battery Date Codes.

Where can you get the codes for the battery dates on the MOTOROLA batteries ???

If your battery is not an after market battery, there will be a 3 digits date code stamped somewhere on the case. The left most digit is the rightmost digit from the year of manufacture, the middle and right digits are the week of manufacture.

For example:
a) A battery with a 312 date code would have been manufactured in the 12th week of 2003.
b) A battery with a 245 date code would have been manufactured in the 45th week of 2002.
c) A battery with a 613 date code would have been manufactured in the 13th week of 1996.
